6ULR on my subaru
I was able to install my new tungsten 6ULR's tonight after work. Those of you who voted in my emails a while back, I did order the graphite but only the tungsten's came in 5x100. I'm real glad because I love how it looks The color is almost a dead match to the darker trim on my outback. In the bright direct sunlight there's a little more blue in emilio's wheel but I think that'll fade once brake dust gets on there.
I snapped some quick photos before the sun went down. I'll get some nice pics once I build my exhaust maybe. Pics!
I am posting 5 pictures below. If they don't show, hit REFRESH or F5 please.
I'm running some 'gently' used 245/45 RE01R's I got from a buddy. There's quite a few "there's no way this will fit, christ, emilio doesn't take returns on wheels, ahh crap, oh boy, well might as well mount a tire and try now" spots on both ends but surprisingly, so far, all I had to do was trim a small spot in the rear inner fender. I already had coilovers which, like most wideass wheels, are required which was the case here. Fun stuff!!
Yeah I'm tickled pink. Thanks to Emilio for a great wheel!

This 6ulr is pretty decent looking, but yeah it's very light and inexpensive, and exclusive IMHO. I could have gone rota. Boring.
I took off the plastic engine bay cover because i lost the plastic rivets. So it's not stock. Other than that it's boring. Just a opensource reflash and I put some manley inconel exhaust valves/springs/ti retainers in it when I had it apart over the winter because they were cheaper than OEM stuff. I have many parts for it lying around everywhere but no time to play boo hoo poor me.

Eeh, I'm not nearly as impressed as I am with the 6UL's on miatas...just doesn't give me the same "WOW that really looks good" reaction, definitely doesn't look bad though by any means.
