Faefae's New Rape Victim
Thanks to the sagacious advice from this forum, I purchased another NB. Originally I was gonna buy a beamer, but then I bought a Subie Forester XT. Then I realized that since I can do all my own work on my cars (I own a hammer), I would see a fantastic ROI if I had a third car. You see, I have to drive for work. Unlike most of you wannabees, I am a professional driver. I get paid by the mile. And since I have to drive for work, I need a car that works every day of the year.
If you glanced over my build thread for my green car AKA "green dragon", "banshee", "child molester", "failaids" -_- you will see that my turbo miata is only on the road about 10% of the time. That means that if I had a problem with my subie like I did last year, I had to pay to get my car fixed and also pay for a rental. This can cost thousands of dollars.
So I bought a $3000 NB. I figure than in 4 years or so, if I keep it fairly reliable (no turbo), and keep subie fairly reliable, I will not have to pay for mechanic labor. Yay.
Details on car:
So here are my mod plans. Just a little suspension stuff and appearance stuff
'03 Bilsteins with some eibach springs (takeoffs from my turbo miata)
tint windows
blacken silver on headlights
VHT nightshades taillights
racing beat dual exhaust (had this lying around from my turbo miata back in the day)
'03 header. Maybe.
Some shiitty egay intake so I can hear the intake sound i guess
Either black 6UL or some baller 17" wheels
move my turbo miata sport brakes over (BBK on turbo miata)
Angle grinder out all that rust. Strip to bare metal. Paint. Cover up the gaping holes with a nice mazda $200 side sill body kit.
And I think that's it.
It's surprisingly peppy. Much peppier than an earlier 1.8 I drove. Not too bad at all. Humiliatingly slow in a straight line but I will seriously ----- the everliving hell out of it. Inertia drift and ebrake initiated drifft FTW
Here's some crappy pics to get us started

- 99+
- triple black
- 190-195 compression on all cylinders
- Posi rear
- 5 speed
- Power windows

- No power locks!! WTF my old '79 benz had power locks
- glass soft top
- well maintained, stock everything.
- some nashty rocker panel rust on both sides

Has it met the other Miata yet and been warned of what is about to come? I've learned the more vehicles I have the more goes wrong. I almost never had problems when I only had one vehicle. I have four and 2 are down now, the bike needs a clutch and my '97 is the only one being a champ. More vehicles= more things to explode

Are those 15" wheels? If so, just keep them, perhaps with a little center cap paint. If you buy 6uls for it, you clearly don't understand the purpose of a beater car.
If they're 14", ignore me, cause 14" tire selection is limited. Even so, there are plenty of 15" wheels you might wanna consider that are cheaper, to save you a couple hundred bucks.
Otherwise, nice purchase. Keep it ------- simple.

you're seriously going to murder it out?
is this some sort of ironic retro thing you're doing or are you just being tacky and tasteless like some mullet-hair inbred from the shallow south?
