I thought about it. Then said fuckit. I think all I would have to do is use my existing fuel pump wiring, jump the relay under the dash and put a solid state relay back there.

I wonder if the stock relay can stand to switching at 1/10 of a second?
Probably last a week, being abused like that. Probably too slow to control pressure accurately anyway.
Although, I think tuning closed loop with a afpr in the mix ought to make things incredibly easy the more I think about it...

I've been reading some more
If you don't have a turbine style fuel pump you shouldn't drive it with pwm, walbros are gerotor pumps and they don't like it. I guess the 450 is a double turbine deal though, so it can run pwm fine.
I'm still gonna mess with it, even though it's more a pain in the *** than it's worth. No relay, mosfet. At least I'll be able to dump some of the heat outside the tank, run it as fast as I need too that way.

Late to party but on the topic of communicators: If you just want to go buy something, I've had decent success with Sena's Bluetooth line of Motorcycle communicators. I have one on my helmet (SMH10R) and have a second for an instructor. In car they work with out issue once in sync, I have also done lead/follow with them and they are good for about the length of the front straight at PIR.
EDIT: add link: http://www.sena.com/product-category...communication/

If you go with a wired setup, I am going to reccomend the Koss Pro 4AA headphones. Should be ablet to pick up each pair for between $40 and 80 depending if you go new or used and bagain hunt. They have been in production since the 70s or 80s and parts are still available new from koss. They have an atachmebt point for microphones as well, but you will have to make/buy the mics seperate.
They isolate super well (I use mine when mowing the lawn) and are comfy and sound good.

So how 'rough' are the fronts? Please quantify.
As long as they all output the same it should be fine, right? Connectors can always be changed. Delphi Packard connectors are relatively inexpensive and plenty robust.

Not bad. I'll keep researching it. Hailey is like why do we need that we have conversations just fine. She was a coxswain in college, so yelling for 6 hours is perfectly normal for her.
My voice is gone by the time we get to seattle. I need a girlfriend I don't like talking to.
