Once again guys, this piece is different from the others linked. And specifically for my temp sender.

Brass tees are known to fail often.

What was the consensus on zinc coating? Deadly chemicals?

Didn't copy anything, don't really appreciate the insinuation that I did. We purchased a competing product, were totally underwhelmed by it in every way, and instead designed a Miata-specific adapter from the ground up.

Play nice kids.

Not every product is 100% new. That's just a fact. But there are differences between the two oggerings.

Love this place. 2 pages of junk over a plumbing fitting

Also just heard from the seller of the turbo that it was off a test engine. And has 6 hours of run time on it.

Yes. 6 hours of run time

So, how does an HX hold up to 6 hours of 1900°F EGTs?

For a used turbo off a diesel, its in surprisingly good condition. Most of them are caked in grime.

I did. I didn't backpurge so it's a little grey from oxidization from the back I think. Need to try some of the solar flux next time.

Need to pass sniffer test every couple years. There is a matching test pipe that fits it.

Is that for a sniff or a visual? Looks small in that 4" pipe

They'll probably visual you because race car. Just change your tune, EGO 15:1 and 10 degrees advance at idle. You'll sail through assuming your not burning oil at idle.

Thanks curly, I was hoping you would chime in. So the test is just at idle? That should be easy to do.

I was thinking about just sending Hailey in and having her smile and plead ignorance. Maybe some tears if needed. But she still has to relearn how to drive the car after twin disc.
