Free beer and A/C!!!! So stoked with these tickets!
Ok - so pic of the tickets boring - but the GA races where as always - awesome! Kinda sucked both finished under yellow but plenty of action. Certainly will be there next year, esp with these seats.

More goodies...
BE race pump, 2 shims
I'm debating whether to sell my OSG and upgrade to the high power, or just send it to 949 for an ungrade... either way, if I got $1300 for it (they are indestructible says Emilio) I'd still be in another $800 and change for the high power.

Seems I'm gonna be selling the '93 red miata soon - picked up this '00 at a steal. Yeah, it's an auto, but I've got eveything needed to make the manual swap. It runs great, has an Alpine in-dash DVD, handed me new cross-drilled rotors and pads by powerstop (will probably sell).
Get rid of the gay style bar and rims, find a hardtop - hell this will be a beauty for a street car. Sure it's gt some dings and dents, but that can easily be fixed. Already looking for a front clip - like like the OEM skirts - someone has obviously added those at some time. Too many miatas, too little cash to deck them out.
Another thing - $2300 is what he let me take it for

What's even better - the original deal was $2800, put $300 down to hold it... so who calls you up and says ' hey man, you're a vet, I'm a vet, and I know racing is expensive. Lets just call it an even $2000 and it's yours.' That soldier so rocks in my book!
Hey Mark - I got this red '93 I'll sell ya for $3k with hard top!

No more pretty boy ****
No more pretty boy ****, time to strip this bitch and cut away all I can...
Drank some beers and went to town... cut out 18.25lbs from the driver's door alone - why didn't I do this earlier? Dash being yanked tomorrow...
Also, can these left and right uprights be cut out?
Also, plan on adding trans and diff coolers where the license plate goes. Should I duct from the sides of the upper rear quarters (naca ducts) or from below (cut out the spare well before the additional diffuser not seen)? I logically think from the sides, as it's high pressure air that will be routed to add to and diminish (?) the drag from the turbulent air 'trap' at the rear of the vehicle... terminology not accurate, but understand what I'm getting at?

I like the idea of the side nacas. Right in the quarter panel. It'll be a straight shot to the heat exchangers and then back out. Would look boss. And is that electric turbocharger for driver comfort?

Yeah, that's my ghetto-rigged helmet cooler with precision molded PVC elbows from HD Racing Works, but I should by one of the marine ventalation blowers which I'm sure is lighter.
IF I went with the NACA ducts, I'll have to play with the fuel fill tubes a little to be able to fit a 3" duct through there - no biggy
Thread was starting to get boring, but not for long... short block complete, head at machine shop for evaluation, Andrews Absurdflow setup #1 in hand, Begi 3" IC in hand, car being gutted and adding aero... I *cough* hope to be done by Dec.
So far on the wating to arrive list: Xida Sports, Twin Disc, TSE Radiator, TSE/949 Harmonic Balancer with 36T wheel, ID1000 injectors, Supertech springs and retainers, one of Gotpsi's intake manifolds...
Waiting on purchasing - ECU - either Haltech, AEM or MS3 - depends on what tuner wants to tune, trans and diff exchangers and pumps (or a single with dual head), halo seats, RacePak logger, more reinforcement to the cage, 10" 6ULs and some Ho's to go with... does the hole ever end? Nope...

Yes the seat belt towers can be cut out, as well as the entire package tray around the gas tank. I will post pics of how I cut mine out. One sec...let me go snap some pictures. Here are a few phone pictures, hopefully they show what I am saying. If you need a blower PM me and I can get one sent out to you. We stock 3 inch inline marine blowers... http://rpmracingca.com/proddetail.as...oling%3ABlower

Wow! you have been busy Bryan! Everything is looking great! I certainly cant wait to see ya again sometime soon. Are you planning on running Road Atlanta again in December?
Edit: side note, do you still have that hardtop on your dd? if you are looking to get rid of it, I have been yearning for one for awhile. Just putting it out there.

Thanks for the pics Ryan!
Collin - the HT went with the '93 - I debated keeping, but the reason I let it go was b/c it was a repaired HT and wasn't valuable enough to sell it seperately. I sold the '93 for 3k, paid 2.3K for the NB - which leaves me enough cash to hunt for another HT - or more likely put torward finishing the track pig. Chances are I will not be finished in time for the toyrun, unless I drive the NB out. We'll see as it draws closer.

Whoot - Christmas came early this year, can't wait to drive a car with a REAL suspension!
All the extra spring mounts/perches are Andrew's, accidently made their way to me - who wants them? I'll let them go cheap
I also got my 6spd back - there was an extra bearing floating aorund for good measure - appearantly some Japanese dude was having a bad day. Mech triple checked why he had 6 large ball-bearings when the schematics only showed 5??
Also ordered this and will have fun installing it - well not me, but my trusted tuner... Haltech Platinum Sport 2000

True 3D mapping was the biggest feature, and not as expensive as ProEFI - which means NOT having to switch fuel maps or using just a programmed % offset fuel trim. So say I was running on E85, then filled up halftank of 93 pump - total ethanol content was say 45% (we have 10% in out 93 pump around here)... I don't have to raise a finger to get the most safe power out of it. The ecu will adjust timing and fuel automatically.
But I really left decision up to my tuner as he's the one that will have to deal with it. He likes AEM (and used many times) but after comparing MS, AEM, ProEFI and Haltech for what I wanted to do, Haltech came out on top.
