Phil's movin on up NB build thread
Bought the car from Full tilt boogie a few weeks ago.
Since then I've swapped the top off my NA, swapped the shocks/springs and RB sway bar from my NA, swapped over my M-tuned bbk. I also painted the lower part of the dash and the carpet. I'm waiting on black door panels to come in the mail.
leatherface and I also painted the insides of the head lights.
M-Tuned BBK
Suspension
The body still needs a really good detail. I need to find some NB seats. I still need to order a front GV lip and I'm getting a rear MSM lip from a friend of mine. I also want to tint the windows and rear tail lights. I also need to swap in my roll bar.
Once all that is done I will move onto the power dept. is going to mod my MS to MSII for the NB, then I'll start collecting go fast parts.

Woah, never seen anyone paint the interior bits of a car while its still in the car. The black already looks better. Were all excited to see what this turns into. Good luck keep up the good work Phil!

Yeah, If I were to pull it all out I would have just swapped in an already black interior and I didn't feel like doing all that. It worked out in the end.

remove basically everything that's removeable from the headlight. Unscrew all screws. Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Use a cookie tray or something flat and big enough to hold headlight. Cover that in tin foil so you don't mess up the tray or make it smell like headlights after. pop it in there (do 1 at a time) for about 10 minutes. anywhere around that time the glue gets soggy. underdo it and you'll have to rip the 2 parts apart which is bad and can damage them. overdo and you might start melting the clear part. its a balancing act.
when you take it out, WEAR GLOVES. soft leather or vinyl ones will work. pry apart. you MAY need to use a flathead to "help" pry them apart. be very careful cause metal can seriously mess up the plastic, so don't just have at it. be very patient, HOWEVER if you take more than about 30 seconds to pry apart it will start hardening back up and make it a nightmare. if that happens, pop it in for another 2-5 minutes and get it back up to temp.
