I actually got the rebuild kits from NAPA, the only part number I have is 83030, and that is for the "rear caliper bushing kit." I will get part numbers for the actual rebuild kits and for the front bushing kit tomorrow.

They just don't seem to do your quality build any justice. But if u are happy with them then its whatever. Your car will be a blast to drive either way I'm sure.

I am actually very pleased with them, I was a little skeptical if using the dampener controller would even be noticeable. But it is nice to put them on the soft side and enjoy the ride. I have yet to track the car, but once it's built and done I will get a true feel for how they work on the track, if not I will look into something else, some custom Penske shocks maybe. I don't know, they might work flawlessly on the track as well, time will tell.

I know they're not the best on the market, but certainly a far cry from "non-quality". They're $1500 shocks for goodness sake, 1800 with the controller. And perform with the best of the sub $1500 suspensions available today.

If anything Ryan should address the non-1.8'ness of this build. Thats pretty much the only thing that bothers me

What is a 1.8? lol I just want to see how much power I can make with the engine. 1.6 + E85 + turbo + nitrous = fun? I got the fronts rebuilt after work, I still need to tear the rear subframe down, glass bead, paint, install new bushings, and install the 1.8 3.90 Torsen with one piece axles. Then once I order the brake lines and upper ball joints I can get the car back down on the ground and rolling. Then all thats left is building the engine and head, tune, and paint.

Here is a picture of the front back together minus upper ball joints and brake pads.

What a huge project. Very impressive! The down-pipe is bitchin! My Miata is a different beast in that I am being super cheap and I drive it every day in NH. It's basically doomed. I wish I could have nice things

Either a heatgun to soften it up before putting it on the car, or let it bake in the sun for a while before putting it on.

Then when you put it on, be careful with how you align it. It may not look 100% correct at first, but if you put it on evenly after sitting in the sun mounted on the car it should come out right.

Mine looked funny for a few days, i ended up pulling and putting it back on once more after because it annoyed me. It still didn't look 100% correct after putting it back on, but a month later and it looked perfect. I assumed it was the heating/cooling cycles and it being mounted evenly on the bumper that evened it out.
