Do you weld by holding a small fusion reactor in your hands and point it in the general direction of the metal bits you want to stick together?

How hard do you have to pull to get that cap off?

Let's say he's running, oh, 30 psi. The area of the cap is... let's be generous and call it 3/8". That's (pi-r-squared) 0.110" or call it 1/10 of a square inch. So even at 30 psi, the most you could get on there is 3 pounds. If you have to pull with, oh, 5 lbs of force, you're probably good.

The smaller the hose, the less you have to worry about it. That one's even ribbed.

Yeah I just replaced that cap because it started cracking. Right now its a rubber 3/8" and its very tight. I need to replace it with a silicone nipple.

Ordered a new clutch disk and both tranny front seal and engine rear main. Why are those seals like $20 a pop? FML.

If the new disk doesn't hold, I'll start saving up for twin disk.

Same disk.
Don't hate. Current disk has like 30k miles of Faeflora/soviet abuse.

I'm poor and cheap, yes.
But the fact that I'm even buying a replacement clutch is for you. I could have just said "oh well I'll just wait until I can afford a twin disk and dial it down to 3xx whp cause that holds fine"

But nope.jpg I want to dyno this bitch on E85 properly before winter time.

I would have gotten a SPEC. I dunno why, I just liked the two I had and disliked everything else.

If I'm spending significant money on a clutch, it will be a twin disk 949 clutch, rated at 550ft/lbs and weights 5+ lbs less than my current setup (ACT ZM2-XTG6 + 9.5lb flywheel).

The disc is only $150 with free shipping, any other option (pressure plate, w/e) is $300+, and is inferior to twin disk.

Good call there. SPEC is not an expensive clutch, but I have no idea how they hold real power. They stink less than the FM one I've gotten, but maybe it's a me issue, FM says they never heard of it.

Then again, they said they never heard of the fuel rails falling off (which later I'd found at least two other people who said they'd asked FM about it), poor wastegate control, etc. So you have to take it with a grain of salt.

Last tank was 16.5mpg. Before you say "OMG" - with the kind of driving I did on last tank, I would get 19-20mpg on gas.

Not too bad, I say
