If I was one to slam the 02, I wouldn't have any testes for you to punch.

So no, not slammage.

You better punch the guys who race these, as they are cr.net slammed...

So I am debating on what to do body wise. Mine being a 76 had the ugly big front bumper. I removed it, but I'm debating on whether I want to put the typical front lip that most put on it, or leave it as is and cover the holes from the bumper. Example:

So the front end currently looks kinda like this:

Should I get the lip that looks like this:

Good to know MT.net still double posts like a bitch.

Anyways to add on to this, I'm am going for a stock, but a bit more aggressive look. Going to be keeping the 13" wheels for a long time, at least until I make enough power to warrant something wider and bigger brakes. I'm also considering making the chrome trim black like in the bottom picture (I hate chrome). I want to remove it all but don't like body work and don't want to pay someone to fill in all the holes. I am terrible with body stuff. Any suggestions in general?

I'm thinking I want something like this (But just in red and no big *** antenna lol)

I like them all except for the silver one, mainly because i don't like the flares. The front lip thing on the silver one is definitely neat though.

Honestly you cant really go wrong on a 2002 as long as you keep it clean.

Put the spoiler on. It looks like it has an overbite otherwise.

I really liked the silver front lip at first, but for some reason I like it less and less the more I look at it. I like the simplicity of the green and orange one without it. I hate doing body stuff, I have no sense of what looks good.

The overbite does kind of kill it for me at some angles, this though looks pretty nice:

I think if you do the car right the overbite can work with the car. That orange/black alpina for example looks incredible.

I'd probably had the front lip since it gives the front end a little more meat and gives it a more "fleshed" out look.

I don't think you can go wrong with either

KYB + H&R, rides pretty good for what it is.

Pretty nice shock tower brace + rear battery mount. Freeing up some space up front for some moar power.

Love the 2002.
Some will see it as sacrilege but someday soon I will build a 2002 with an F20/F22. CA Tuned makes a swap kit that is relatively simple. Yes I know that an S14 is the only right way to upgrade but they are expensive to build and less reliable than a honduh.
Good luck with your build

I still haven't decided my route yet. I think for the immediate future I will be going dual 40s. Maybe further down the road I'll swap in a different drivetrain.

$500, good lord man what a score. I was surprised to find one on CL last week for $3500.

Front air dam, no bumpers. Keep the 13's. My 2c...

I just put on the bumper again with the shortening kit and it looks pretty good. Moves the bumper in 3". I'll try and get some photos of it. I'll probably still do a front air dam as it looks pretty good with the bumper. 13's are staying for a good while.

Next on my list is getting the speedo working again. Still waiting on my damn clutch/flywheel so I can fix the last big drivability issue.

Looks better in person, and my phone's camera is ****. The bumper looks much bigger than it is in these photos. It sits right up on the bumper sticks out about as far as the hood does. There are too many sorority girls that live near me not to have a front and rear bumper.
