I live in Dallas Texas.

Will the car pass state inspection in Texas?
Would there be any issues to get the car registered and titled in Texas?

If I installed a 1.8 motor would all the equipment on the car transfer from the 1.6 to 1.8 motor? What would be required to do the swap?

Anything else I need to know?

The car is still forsale, asking 8.000 obo. i hate letting cars sit.

the car has no cat but could have hi flow cat put on then it should.
there is no reason to put 1.8 to 20 hp. the part wont work. You could pull the motor and add pistons and rods and maybe afew other bits and go crazy on boost. Its very quick now, and dependable. You could call Corky at Begi and ask if he remembers the 90 from Louisiana, or Tim

i have not been able to post new pics and such. i have been sending photos from my i phone to others on here. the price is 7500 as well. i need to move this thing from work as i dont have a place to keep it, and the lotus aint staying outside, i do have pics of motor and inside already

thanks Cris, i sent another message to moderator for help on posting new pics and stuff, no reply yet. If anyone interested in car send me email with a number for i phone ill send you any pictures you need. The car is clean. ONLY asking 7500.oo Spent 12k just in last year alone, if you would see it in person you would not be disappointed. Just had ac recharged. Only quirk is that megasquirt can not react quick enough to throtle lift coming to stop to keep idle. Tim at BEGI could not tune it out. at idle and driving AC is great. Also will give factory seats, transmission(get out of my attic) extra tubo bolts, plug wires other misc things i have for car.
