I just went through and read the whole thread and it has motivated me... I'm going to wash my Z3 and see how much i can get for that... if it goes well I'll see what I can manage

This isn't intended to get your hopes up, nor am I promising that this will happen, just simply stating. If anything, free bump for an incredibly remarkable car for an even more remarkable price

Damn, well at least people are seeing it and are giving you bullshit, haha

I'm with some of the people on here, before you do any work for a 'possible' buyer, make them give you a few hundred dollars in a down payment or something to have them committed

I personally wouldn't buy any car like this without cables and software to change settings to the spark and fuel map. But that's just me!

a tuner can make any adjustments he wants.
how do you think this car was tuned so perfect?

i don't have a cable or software, i'm not a tuner. The car was professionally tuned for me.

so you wouldn't buy a car with 30K into it for $12K because it doesn't come with a cable?
OK...so don't buy it.

I'm going to go buy a lotto ticket, win the draw, then buy this car.

How can a tuner edit the map without the cable? Magic?
I'm not a pro tuner but I change my map when I want and when I add some new part to the car.
If you change the injectors you need to change the fuel map so the cable it's mandatory!

I was also going to drop $12k on one of the nicest, most carefully built street turbo Miatas ever, but when I found out I'd have to source my own cable, that killed the deal.

robino -- I want the car, but I'll have to send you a Western Union check for more than the asking price. You are free to keep the extra as a bonus, just go ahead and ship the car to me and I'll get that Western Union check on the way.

wtf is wrong with you that you can't find a $3 serial cable on your own?

you know this car has a manual transmission right? you have to shift the gears yourself!

Come on now....Admit it.....That is THE retarded statement of the day.

Noob should get a loly pop for the amusement that he has provided.

these are the types of people i have to deal with selling the car folks...

one wants a cable (now mind you, i never said i wouldn't "throw in" a cable)...
another wants to pass cali emissions...

tire kickers would have been gold right now compared to the level of retardation i'm up against.

Why this car has not sold is beyond me.... it is by far the cleanest built car I've seen on here in a long time and priced barely over bolt on greddy kit cars.

1st I don't know this ECU so I didn't know what cable is needed.
2nd I was NOT going to buy this car, it was a friend of mine, and he was really interessed, not any more.

Maybe if robino said that making a cable is very simple we would understand and pass that problem.
If you guys don't understand that some thinks are hard to find here in Europe and even more in Portugal...
