Do they have any concept of thread crapping in Portugal?

BTW - If you find it hard to source a serial or USB cable, this car - and this site - are not for you.

Once again: I don't know this ECU so I didn't know what cable is needed!
It could be a cable only for that ECU and not a standart serial cable!

If everyone is an expert here why did MR Robino didn't even knew if the car has a oil cooler or not?
Don't knowing something simple as that is really bad for someone with so many parts in the car.

A little research would've yield that is a very standard cable.

Not everyone is an expert, but this site is known for not spoon feeding. Also you if you got offended because you asked a question that could've been answered by Google and then you got the response you got. Then this is not the site for you.

Take that as a friendly advice before the e-rape crew finds you.

Yeah- I'm stunned it hasn't sold at that price. It really is a turn-key package. Next time you run an eBay ad, you should feature a power-to-weight chart that illustrates the power of this car. My guess is that some of your potential buyer market can't see beyond the fact that it only has 340whp compared to their 400chp Viper.

Mine is supposed to be weighting around 2300lb lets say Robino's car weights 2400 that at 7.05lb/whp (Emphasis on WHP)

2nd I was NOT going to buy this car, it was a friend of mine, and he was really interessed, not any more.

Maybe if robino said that making a cable is very simple we would understand and pass that problem.
If you guys don't understand that some thinks are hard to find here in Europe and even more in Portugal...

so your friend Luis was interested but now isn't because of the $3 cable?
ok.

i should'a taken his deposit that he was begging me to take, and i bet that $3 cable would not have been that big a deal.

I have local interest, which is better than spending my days doing backflips looking for a shipper for him only to have him 'cancel' for a $3 cable.
As for the management system, it's "just" an Electromotive Tec3R, only the most expensive most tunable management system money can buy.

You guys are funny over there in Portugal.

mine weighed 2275 with a quarter tank on Moroso's scale.

the reality is, this car is so conservatively tuned...with the small injectors, that 340whp is peanuts to what the real potential truly is.

If there were more Flex Fuel gas stations near me i would have gotten the 1200cc injectors already and on E85 it would have made closer to 450whp without meth without anything... E85 is anywhere between 96-105 octane and that means you can boost the faack outta this thing and still run a safe a/f.

The beauty of it being E85 costs about $1.70 a gallon...but there's only 2 or 3 gas stations who carry it, all of them being some 20-40 miles away from me.

To us, its an amazing car because we can appreciate the work put into it, seeing that most of us are DIY car enthusiasts. Not to mention, most of us are in the 200-250 whp range and we know how fast the car is compared to other, more common cars out on the road. Add another 100whp and we can REALLY appreciate this car, and the asking price.

However, thats us, and most of your viewing audience that comes across this ad just sees it as another miata. Same as if I stumbled onto a random rx7, supra, evo, sti, etc ad, it would just be like all the others I've seen.

I agree that its an excellent price for the amount of car, but not everyone is going to see it like that. They are going to see its a 1996 mazda miata, that has a lot of work done to it. Some people will probably jump the gun, very excited to ask a million questions, and then lose interest within about a week of seeing the ad. Others will check it out and never say a peep.

I think you'll sell it eventually, and hopefully to someone on this board. But in the meantime....I would try and refrain from "bellyaching" about it so much. Today's a hard market and its tough to sell ANYTHING. Just give the car as much exposure as you have time for, and give every last detail upfront. Then go from there.

And BTW, DJsixty. You're truly a ******* idiot.

Yeah, thinks must be hard to come by. A simple Google search of the ecu would have stopped all your thinks altogether, and replaced them with a dropping jaw.

Letting a car warm up all the way is just a waste of fuel and a good way to wash the cylinders down. Within a block or two, your block will be warm enough to do whatever you'd like in the southern region during the summer months. The only real threat is valve spring failure when cold if he has really strong springs in the head (stronger the metal, the easier it is to shatter)

there's high revving valve springs in the heads by the way...car revs at 8000 rpms all day long.
youtube: robinorobino - watch the videos and check out the rpm gauge

I need another two seater like I need another wife, but I still want this car more than just about anything I have seen in some time. It is just really badass. Test drove an Sti with bolt-ons last weekend, yawn. Miata ftw.

This reminds me of when i was selling my old turbo r pkg. Took me over a year, i had countless ******* flakers including a real doozy from orlando and then finally i sold the car for 3k less my starting price but in the end it was worth it as it lived a great life in the hands of eric and now wonton. Itll sell and when it does, i hope its someone on here that will take care of it.
