I have a 1999 Mazda Track Built /Daily Driver - Tasteful mods for sale, in USA - Colorado.
Mileage: 174K miles
Asking price is $5500
I've been dragging my feet posting this ad because I absolutely do not want to sell this car but the time has come. Life changes are forcing me to sell my 1999 NB Miata. This car has been painstakingly built as a daily driver/occasional track car with thoughtful mods and performance goodies. It's ready for you to drive it home across country tomorrow. See modification list at bottom of ad.
The car runs out fantastically, sticking through the curves of the local canyons like flypaper. Chassis bracing, safety and suspension mods and uprated brakes give this car a ride like it's on rails. 1.8L 5-sp. drivetrain revs out well with no smoke and a great sound from the dual tip Silverline exhaust and 4-2-1 headers. The car rattles a bit when cold (valve adjustment?) but quiets down quickly as it warms up. The car was maintained as a daily driver retaining some of the comforts (stereo, AC) while modding it for the track (soft-top removed, power steering rack depower).
Exterior has ZERO rust and only one decent size dent just behind driver's door from a parking lot mishap (see pics). Paint dings and rock chips on hood and doors.
Medical issues are forcing me to reluctantly get out of the Miata game completely and I will be selling all my accumulated parts for making this car go like the wind. I have a complete BEGI S4 turbo kit with fueling, controls and intercooler; an Adaptronic e420c ECU with interface harnesses for NB1 and NB2; a complete 1997 turbo 1.8L engine and trans with 95K og miles; Devils Own Water Injection Kit; complete engine from a 2000 SE with new H-beams rods, ARP studs, new rebuilt head with valve job and mild exhaust porting, MSM 10.0/1 pistons with new clevite rings, cleaned block, gasket kit, Toyota COP assemblies and brackets, etc. etc. etc.
I also have years worth of NA and NB parts that I'd love to sell to someone as a package with the '99. Willing to talk about a package deal to someone who is interested in everything. $5500 firm for the car as it sits: drive it home today. Package deal with everything Miata that I own: $9000 firm. Not parting out the parts stash quite yet to see if anyone wants the full package. Located in Fort Collins, CO.

Thanks for the compliments on the car. It actually sold this morning. I had no doubts that at this price point there would be an issue selling it quickly.
The buyer didn't take any of the parts so definitely look for a parts thread in the next couple days in the parts section. BEGI S4 complete turbo kit, Adaptronic e420c ECU, Devil's Own water injection, zero mile rebuilt 1.8L, etc. etc. etc. Four years worth of playing with Miatas...
