Shawn Lawrence Otto: Shocking New Oil Propaganda Plan to Fool Americans

It's interesting to see that Einstein went through the same stuff as Global Warming and Science in general deals with today. And from the same political affiliations no less.

No no no! These are a "shadowy network of contract propagandists", and nothing like the straight up news reporting from Huffpo.

What I find amusing is the absolute silence from the eco weenies regarding all the dead endangered species lying at the base of most wind and solar farms.

You are trying to imply that climate change is propaganda?

Please, elaborate. What degrees do you hold? What advanced training do you hold on the subject? What enables you to effectively dismiss entire branches of science, with substantial backing evidence comprising decades of research, on this subject?

I'm certain you must have enormous accomplishments academically in order to be able to so conclusively dismiss so much of modern science, and not only that, you must be sitting on a majorly disruptive paper or series of papers just waiting to be published, full of evidence that contradicts much of our modern understanding, right?

P.S. Just for kicks,

Looks like Palin WAS the smart one on the ticket

Yes, it is real. The climate is always changing. Now it looks like it is going to get colder again.

Whether it is getting hotter or colder, the developing nations will far outstrip anything we can do in the US to offset them. But we can screw up our economy even further and make our government more powerful over us and weaker on the world stage.

The beauty of the scientific method is that the theory of man-made climate change can be tested. And then when the theory fails so miserably that whole hosts of scientists try to "hide the decline", everyone from the the scientific community to the garbage man can say "See? Epic fail. Time to test a new theory." Carbon dioxide climate forcing is a crock of ****, based on a foundation of politically motivated science.

When Einstein postulated his theory of relativity, do you know what he had for supporting documentation? Zero. Zilch. Nada. Should his theory have been accepted on its face, or tested and evaluated? Hmmm....

OK to sell widow's home over $6 bill, judge rules - New York News

BEAVER, Pa. (AP) - A widow was given ample notice before her $280,000 house was sold at a tax auction three years ago over $6.30 in unpaid interest, a Pennsylvania judge has ruled.

The decision last week turned down Eileen Battisti's request to reverse the September 2011 sale of her home outside Aliquippa in western Pennsylvania.

"I paid everything, and didn't know about the $6.30," Battisti said. "For the house to be sold just because of $6.30 is crazy."

Battisti, who still lives in the house, said Monday that she plans to appeal to Commonwealth Court. That court earlier ordered an evidentiary hearing, which led to last week's ruling.

Beaver County Common Pleas Judge Gus Kwidis wrote that the county tax claim bureau complied with notification requirements in state law before the auction. She had previously owed other taxes, but at the time of the sale she owed just $235, including other interest and fees.

"There is no doubt that (she) had actual receipt of the notification of the tax upset sale on July 7, 2011, and Aug. 16, 2011," the judge wrote. "Moreover, on Aug. 12, 2011, a notice of sale was sent by first class mail and was not returned."

The property sold for about $116,000, and most of that money will be paid to Battisti if further appeals are unsuccessful. An attorney for the purchaser did not return a phone message on Monday.

Joe Askar, Beaver County's chief solicitor, said the judge got the decision right, based on the law.

"The county never wants to see anybody lose their home, but at the same time the tax sale law, the tax real estate law, doesn't give a whole lot of room for error, either," Askar said.

Battisti said her husband handled the paperwork for the property's taxes before he passed away in 2004.

"It's bad - she had some hard times, I guess her husband kind of took care of a lot of that stuff," Askar said. "It seemed that she was having a hard time coping with the loss of her husband - that just made it set in a little more."

Halifax bar racist for calling police on patron who didn’t have proper I.D., human rights commission says | National Post

For refusing to serve a man carrying what it deemed to be improper I.D. — and then calling the police when he refused to leave — a Halifax bar is now awaiting punishment for what the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission deemed to be a discriminatory act of “imposing the police” on a customer “because of his colour.”

The bar, the Halifax Alehouse, maintains that it had no racial malice in kicking out Sierra Leone immigrant Dino Gilpin; they were simply fulfilling the strict requirements of Nova Scotia’s Alcohol and Gaming Division.

“Our motto is ‘if in doubt, keep them out,’” Alehouse general manager Peter Martell said in a letter filed before the commission. “We are heavily scrutinized by the [Alcohol and Gaming Division] and follow their guidelines.”

The incident occurred on a Saturday night in February, 2010. Mr. Gilpin, then 32, entered the Alehouse, ordered a beer and was immediately “carded” by server Stephanie Lent.

Oh here, I can pile on FL too:

FL Teacher Banned Bible from 'Free Reading' Time in Classroom

Giovanni Rubeo is a fifth-grade student at the school, who had been given a Bible at church as a Christmas gift. It’s his favorite book, so he decided he’d like to read it during the time in class where students are allowed to read anything they choose.

Swornia Thomas is Giovanni’s teacher. On April 8, Thomas told Giovanni he’s not allowed to read the Bible in her class and ordered him to put it away. Giovanni asked her to call his father, Paul Rubeo, about the incident.

Thomas did so, leaving a voicemail that included, “I noticed that he [Giovanni] has a book—a religious book—in the classroom. He’s not permitted to read those books in my classroom.” Rubeo then contacted the school’s principal, Orinthia Dias, who brought in the school’s legal department. None of them are willing to acknowledge that Giovanni has a constitutional right to read the Bible.

I'm trying to figure out if you just quoted something from 1938 or not.
