2.5" Custom Exhaust Routing- On My Axle!!??
I just got this car and the exhaust rests/hits the left axle because of the stock routing. Does anyone know a better way of routing the exhaust or what can be done to get clearance. I can bend the hanger a bit with a torch to move it over about half an inch but is there another way?
Anyone have pictures of a different setup maybe because the clank and rattle I get with this current pipe is annoying and I always think something is breaking when I hear it.

The local guy here actually did a full cat back 2.5", flow40 (single in dual out), 3" tips on my ranger for $200cash. He charges $20 for test pipes usually. Wish he did mandrel bends and could build me a cage.
He works miracles when it comes to exhuast for cheap, I'll just take it to him and see what he says. Be nice to get the miata on the rack anyway.

I might just back the car into the shop at my university, seeing how I am a manufacturing major, and bend the hanger myself. We'll see.
Have you seen many people run cutouts after their downpipe then run smaller pipe back to get more clearance? This is just a curiousity question, I don't have $$ to throw at all new exhaust when mine is very functional.

I built my exhaust to dump out right behind the driver's seat. I think I parts were something like $27. I have a full write-up of it on my website (which is having DNS problems right now).
Try my normal link or the one below (if it doesn't work now, try again in a day)
