I was scratching my head on how you got down into the wheel well past all the power steering lines, then looked more closely:

Did you actually notch the box section of the chassis, or just the welded flange? Not being able to get a pipe through that space is what forced me to start over and rethink my entire cooling system.

There is a v-shaped notch in the chassis. I think that's what you're talking about.

Just the weld flange, but I did go a little too deep with my crapass garagesale POS busted sawzall knockoff. I would have curved that cut if I had the right tools, but it works fine the way it is.
