First Build Day
Got started around 5pm and I was just going to fabricate the downpipe and get it back to stock, but it turns out I actually was going to have a Miata build party at my house and didn't know it.
Starts again tomorrow...

I took the stock mounts and bent the bottom tabs that the rad normally sits in down. Then I bent a piece of aluminum into a L shape, made two holes for the radiator to sit in, and used self tapping machine screws to attach them to the stock brackets lowering the radiator about an inch and a half. I attached the A/C condenser to the radiator with those zip tie like things that are used to hold slim fans to the radiator. Ghetto, but it works.
One last picture to tide you over till tomorrow.

nice bro...reminds me of my build day..
Lev, along with a few others from here and local dragged their asses outta bed and took an hour drive to come help me out...stayed till the wee hours of the morning, and actually got everything done in 1 day (+ a clutch swap)....unfortunately had an MS issue and couldnt finish, but these guys got me 99.9% done in like 17hrs...
Can't wait to see the finished product man!!! I had food and beer, but you got cheerleaders and marshmellows ftw!!!
And +1 to the rims on the car...looks real good against the green!
