And still not achieve the moronic goal.

Cool story bro.

Also, every car you're comparing to has longer gears and bigger tires. You know what that means? Less force at the actual contact patch. So you can't compare. 200wtq in a miata at 2000 is not only impossible with a turbo, but WILL SPIN ANY TIRE.

all of it tq at 2000rpm is such a silly goal, especially if you want to autox your car.

and i still don't think it's very possible.

anyways, here's fun one:

1.8L t25 at 10psi vs a 1.6L m45 ported, overboosting to 15psi:

and then the setup that blows all out of the water:

after driving in this car, you'll be beggin for it to have your babies. Unfortunatly it would turn you down because you enjoy unrealstic, silly, goals.

I just can't figure out why the OP won't buy my car. It's the only thing short of a V8 that will get him close to his stated goals.

wow. seriously, that you make more torque than Paul's monster is insane. I need to drive [in] your thing ASAP; when are we meeting up next (krispy kreme on the 13th?).

To date, paul's monster is probably the ultimate setup i've driven in (granted it only weighed like 1800lbs) but I cant even imagine what your ---- feels like.

well done sir. and you're still on the stock TB and IM?

We can't ignore the classic tuning methods for this one. Think out of the classic turbo-box! Remember, old Beetles and such have their max torque at 2000rpm or so. So in order to achieve the stated goal, maybe we should go back in time?

What to do:
- longer and narrower intake runners to get the resonance frequency down to 2000rpm (I'd say double the length and cut the diameter to 70%)
- longer stroke, smaller bore
- close off one intake and one exhaust valve per cylinder
- smaller exhaust
- .....

That should move max torque down the rpm-band considerably! It will also be a TOTAL joy to drive.

I think an electric turbo is the answer to OPs request.
