Default SR20 T25 Oil Inlet...

...is 7/16-24 I.F. right? I'm trying to figure out if Tuner Toys sent me yet another incorrect part, or if perhaps some of these turbos came with larger oil inlets. This fitting they sent me seems slightly too small, the threads never really catch. I can pull it right out by hand after "threading" it in. Seems like it catches by maybe one thread.

Can I tell by just looking at or measuring this fitting somehow if it is in fact 7/16-24? Its definitely an inverted flare. The 1/8NPT fitting fits into the oil inlet much better than this.

7/16-24 if

sure you have a sr20 t25?

if you look at the inlet do you see where it needs an inverted flare?

Yes, it appears to need an I.F. I guess i'm not 100% positive this is an SR20, but it sure looks like one and the Ebay ad said it was one (not that ebay ads are always accurate obviously).

Is the diameter of the fitting suppose to be 7/16" across? This one looks more like 5 or 6/16 whereas the actual inlet on the turbo looks like it could be definitely 7/16. This is all speculation with a ruler though...

Edit: Just talked to Craig from TT on the phone, he says that supposedly this is the only I.F. fitting they have. However, i'm looking at a 1/8 NPT fitting they just sent me (forgot to send it the first time) that is suspiciously also an inverted flare.

OMG, so I think i'm just getting these 2 fittings backwards. This is my first time dealing with these fittings so the fact that TT has been sending me incorrect parts is adding to my confusion.

Initially, I was missing a 1/8NPT fitting from the kit. They included a -4an to -3an piece incorrectly. So they sent out the missing 1/8NPT fitting (or were suppose to).

It looks to me like they actually sent me the 7/16-24 IF fitting that I didn't even realize I was missing in the first place, instead of the 1/8NPT fitting they thought they were sending.
