Default Wideband setup

Is anyone currently running or tried the JAW wideband controller. It looks to be good for the price. I searched the forums and didn't see it mentioned anywhere. Just wondering if it is any good. Sounds a lot like Megasquirt, they send you the board and you make it all yourself. For ~$80-$100 I may try it on my car when i get it running.

The $80-100 is including the sensor. The controller itself is about $44 shipped plus parts is $15 shipped (I just checked on this) so thats about $60 for the controller itself. As for the Bosch sensor needed they can be found for 30-50 new, but I have a few around so it won't cost me anything. Just thought it would be a fun project.

yes a few of us are using that, I have one that is version 1.03, and I believe someone else here has one as well. I really like the displays that 1.04 came out with. I purchased mine assembled for like 130 because I suck at soldering, but I still haven't installed it in the car yet. However I do have a friend who runs version 1.03 on his Eclipse and it works perfectly for him. There are a few threads on this forum about the JAW, but you have to sort through a bunch of **** to find them. Also, version 1.03 would get really hot, so putting a fan wherever you mount it isn't a bad idea.

I'm ordering the 1.041 version. Might as well get the latest one. I'll report back when I get it installed and compare it to the LC-1.
