Default Help... no boost after installing IC and adjusting the wastegate!!!

Turbo: Greddy 15-G TDO4-H, and ebay I.C. HKS bov
I been running without an intercooler for a while, and I saved up enough money and bought a decent I.C. Installed it. I adjusted the wastegate, shortening the actuator rod. I turned the car on, it hesitated... so I applied gas and my car held a rough idle around 600 rpm.
Problem is, my cars is not holding any boost. It's always in vacuum. I checked for leaks, no leaks. Everything is tight and in working order.
My boost gauge is working btw, and I notice a lot of bogging down. Without the intercooler my car hits 5-10 psi at 3500 rpm in each gear. Now what could be wrong?

Are you sure you adjusted the rod the right way?

sounds like a leak to me if you didnt change any other factor except adding an intercooler + piping.

Boost leak test. If it passes, look at the actuator again.

If it didnt leak you'd have boost, right?
That - or you're not making boost: wastegate open?

Check your intercooler for holes. Some intercoolers have threaded holes that need screws in them, and some are just made wrong.

You would need a LOT of holes in the intercooler to have no boost. For example, when the hose comes off the idle speed valve on my setup, I have a 3/4" diameter hole and the boost drops about 3 psi at the top end. You can hear a loud wooshing sound whenever it is in boost with the hose off.

I'd look at the wastegate if it were my car...
