Default T3 question

So I have basically decided on my setup. I have the el cheapo ebay 1.6 cast T3 manifold on the way, emu, IC, pipes, o2 clamp... You get the idea. All I need are injectors, and a t3. I have been leaning toward this one:http://www.gpopshop.com/garrettturbosremand.html

The reason I am thinking about going with gpop, is because of the good feedback on this site, and the price seems to be right.

I was going to go with the stock 50 trim compressor, .48 ar turbine, and I was going to get the $65 upgrade to convert it from a chrysler exhaust flange, to a standard t3 flange.

So my questions are, should I get the exhaust flange upgrade, or should I save my cash because I am doing a custom dp and I have access to a plasma cutter?(I cant seem to find out WTF this chrysler flange looks like).

Also, are there any other places I should be looking at for a rebuilt t3?(I dont really feel like buying a used one and rebuilding it. I will get into that when I take off the hks tdo4 kit I have now before I sell it)

oh yeah, my final goals are around 200 rwhp, Im going with the t3 instead of a smaller turbo because I will probably want a bit more once I really catch the boost fever.

He has all the info and options on there you could need.

That shows you how the chrysler flange looks. The normal T3 has the more narrow bolt pattern as shown.

Pretty sure it uses a standard downpipe flange but you might be able to make use of that cast iron turn down.

How do you plan to attach your intake pieces? The flanged inlet is a little weird, I don't like them much just because that adds cost or time to your turbo install.

If I was going to get anything done to that turbo i would get an inlet installed or get it swapped out to a 60 trim.

thanks for the reply. I was thinking that the exhaust flange was the dp flange. I guess I will have to call them up to figure out wtf the dp flange is before I buy.

60trim ftw
make sure your turbine housing is a standard "ford style" 5-bolt - that will keep your options open for flanges since it's more or less the standard for T3 exhaust housings

I dont understand his t3 upgrades....he clearly lists a T3, then a T3/T4...however you cannot upgrade the T3 to a 60 trim, only T4 wheels.

those aren't T3 wheels.

T3s would be 55, 60 and Super 60; not S, H, and V trims.

yeah- it's wrong. And when you start to normalize the T3 it gets expensive. I bet tunertoyz can deliver what you want for a better price. They're blowout prices for t3/t4s were less than similar at gpop. If it were me, I'd lean towards the larger t3 compressor for sure.
