Max. operating pressure or working pressure?
Which is most important? I'm in need for some fuel line to attach my Vortech and don't want to skimp on serious parts. I already have some nut ended worm clamps to keep the slippery bastards on, but was confused about psi ratings.

Regular fuel injection hose (SAE30R9) is required to have higher working pressure rating (125psi) and minimum burst pressure rating (900psi). If you are worried about pressures in your fuel lines then, look for an SAE rating on the hose. SAE30R6 and SAE30R7 are low pressure hose for carburated enginges (rated for 50 psi and a minimum burst pressure of 250 psi) and SAE30R9 is a higher pressure fuel injection hose. If your hose has a number between R7 and R9 it is a medium pressure hose.

All advances have fuel line (former employee here ) it's just in the back with the vacuum hose (gotta ask for it, find somebody in a white shirt that looks like he's been there a while). And if they tell you they're out of it they're full of ****. It comes in every three weeks or so regardless of how much they sell, I know my store had a good 75 spools or so in stock at a time.

Haha, former Advance Auto Parts employee here too. Yes, they do sell the high pressure "fuel injection hose" in the back. And like kplafin suggest, most employee's are dumbasses and don't know what they have, or the diff. between regular and fuel injection hose. ****'s like 5 something a foot though....
In all seriousness, you can buy stainless braided line by the roll from summit for about the same price, and then you got something. I think -6AN is around 5/16 (but double check of course). Anyways, -6AN from summit:
3ft- $14 4.67 a foot
6ft- $21 3.50 a foot
10ft- $37 3.70 a foot
15ft- $53 3.53 a foot
20ft- $74 3.70 a foot
If you can swing it, but a roll and you'll have some left over for your next project.
