Default Proper intercooler size

Okay first If there are links out please send me a link I already tried searching and didn't come up with the answer I was looking for. I have a 2000 NB I will be turbocharging here soon and I am in the process of buying the intercooler. I am hoping the make 200-215ish using a SR20 T28 journal bearing turbo. My question is does any one have suggestion on a good intercooler size to run. I will more than likely be running a ebay intercooler so it won't be anything expensive. Any help would be appreciated.

Ebay mother ******! But you live in japon, don't they have intercoolers laying on the street everywhere?

Run something under 20 inches.

you want something between 18-24" core, most likely 3" thick, and at least 6" tall.

Its kinda tight on an NB, especially if you have AC.
Im running a 12 inch x 16 inch, with over the radiator charge pipes.

Are there any advantages to running a over the radiator charge pipe. Also will it affect my cooling temp at all. I am not just asking question for the hell of it I am ready to buy now I just need to make sure I buy the right intercooler the first time.

Yes there are a million intercoolers laying around in the junkyard but most of them are beat to ****. I was going to use the stock intercooler from my GTR but I think it to big for this set up.

proper ducting on the front of the FMIC will make it significantly more efficient.
