Anyone put in an in car PC for ECU programming and stuff like that?

Default Anyone put in an in car PC for ECU programming and stuff like that?

Reason being is I don't want to have to drag around a laptop to tune my MS when I get it in. I also planned on having this as my in car entertainment, etc., etc. I was looking at getting an in dash case like this one...

Touch screen, the whole nine yards you know? From experiences here, good idea? bad idea? Never done (unlikely)?

Search on Joe Perez. I think he had a setup at one point.

An iPad would be perfect if only it had the interfaces needed for an ECU. Sigh. We're using those in aircraft all the time and sunlight readability is good.

I did this:



by modifying the radio surround like this:



and it looks like an OEM installation:



PC is a micro-ATX inside the glovebox.
