Sounds like a turbo is really the only way to go.

NA6C-Guy your comment about a 100hp motor is well taken. Very true. .

Doppelganger, I'm sorry you life sucks so bad. Maybe your life would be better if you just didn't read every post. My guess is that you don't even own a Miata. You probably have no friends other than in your Captain Kirk club, so the forum is where you hide behind a key board and try to act tough.

Thanks to all the rest of you that showed intelligence in your posts. Dope head ganger could learn from all of you.

Your thread is based on a stupid ******* question that could be answered with the search button. It's also probably better asked on a forum other than miataTURBO.net.

DG posted what just about everyone in here wanted to post, but instead most mistakenly gave you the benefit of the doubt and feed your ignorant lazy *** the information you are too stupid and lazy to find yourself. A ******* Google search for some dyno plots would have been enough to prevent this lame thread.

The reason you get responses like DGs on this forum is that this place tries very hard to avoid having ricer poser morons like you posting on a regular basis about things like 'which cat-back flows the best?' and 'whats the best turbo?'

Whats really sad is that you even fail at trolling with the lame insults. How ******* hard is it to come up with something better than 'dope ganger'? Are you 12? Do you live in Green Acres?

OP...the whole reason I de-turbo'd my car is because it's well proven that bolt-ons do very little for the B6/BP, especially compared to going turbo.

I didn't want to be tempted to start spending on headers and such, and trust me, after a little reading, you won't find any of it tempting, much less worthwhile, either.

Oh yeah, and lay of DoppleDorf...his post was informative and polite compared to the usual replies non-searching newbs get.

Wow, Doppel, I didn't realize you were so uncool. I'm afraid I can't talk to you anymore without losing what few cool points I have left.

Yes so I asked a basic question.

For those of you who responded with a respectful answer Thank You!

For those of you who that were upset by it. I doubt I'll loose any sleep over what you think of me. Your just words on a forum. Have you not figured that out yet? You don't even know who I am, yet Sparetire almost had a heart attack pounding out a reply to me. Relax guys!

Sparetire. I Hope you have a nice day. I'm so sorry you don't like me. My husband and children still think I'm a cool MOM who drives a convertible.

Ya that's right, a MOM. You spent the entire time telling off a woman. Like I said before, your all so very tough behind a keyboard.

Your a 14 year old male with an IQ around room temperature. You asked a stupid question, talked trash when you got an honest answer, and got owned. Its entertaining. "All" are basically telling you your a tool.

Are you sure you are not this guy attempting another comeback?

**** even if you are a mom, your still a damned moron who cant use Google. I would feel sorry for your kids.

We don't treat members differently based on what is between their legs....so don't try to swoon any of us with that stuff. Wether you have a 47" salami or a Mariana Trench between your thighs, responding with a rather inate (and even a little "lol" by going along with your slight spelling error in post #1) reply that included very useful information, with an attitude and name calling....well.....maybe you should re-read post #29.

Pot...meet kettle.

Be careful man, this user will now throw insults at you for pointing them in a direction in which actual information is located.

People around here are getting soft....combine that with the fact that I can't express my true fellings about dipshits on other forums...it all builds up and gets vented on MT. Besides, I think Hustler finally touched his first ***** because his attitude has severely dropped off.....

Being a mom isn't difficult, as many dirtbag ***** such as your mother have proven. Apparently learning the difference between "your" and "you're" requires a bit more attention. And before you tie your panties in a knot about me being picky, young sir, that was only the latest among many egregious grammatical and spelling errors that belie far more about you than you are obviously aware.

So I'm not the only one who thinks that. Some things can't be untouched I guess.

The best forum ever!

I had the chance to try out a Miata with intake, header with 1.6 engine, but the thing in suspension is modded all the way to the t and it was a blast to drive.

If I were you I would start with the suspension and trust me there is gazillions stores on this topic for Miatas as the Miata is one of the most well balanced small compacts.

When I drove that 1.6 I was not burning tires or goin faster than the speed of light, but it was fun to drive and really notice why there is this Miata culture. Been offering money to the guy and so far all I get is "let me think about it".

Dial that suspension and it will be a total different better car.
