My serious bad ass MZR engine

Lets not have a drift and sport argument on this thread.
I dont have an LS because an LS with this power would cost the same if not more for the build and the fabrication. Plus we had research done on the 2.0 and so much was about the same we figured we could do it some what easily. LOL
Do I still think an LS is smarter, probably. Plus it can be put in per the rules.
As for the intake and exhaust, the fuels lines were re-routed. Have a purge tank and big pump now. The BEGI turbo manifold places the turbo so it is a very straight shot from the turbo out the back. Infact you can see the turbo through the down pipe. It is almost totally straight.
The oil pan was a pain in the ***. Well it looked like it. I didnt make it and I dont weld. Wish I did though. If I did my car would be like some mad max ---- though.

What was it like tuning a direct injected motor vs. the BP? I read some stuff saying that the motor is very knock resistant and you can also safely run lean AFRs.
How does the head compare to a honda F or K?
To get more displacement I guess you will change out the sleeves?
What kind of manifold did BEGI make for you? Did they do a tubular?

BEAUTIFUL! Please tell me you have a build thread somewhere...
Info requested regarding:
If you blow this bitch up, or if you have detailed pics of the engine compartment without the engine, please post. Seriously. That thing ALMOST looks like it belongs there. A 2.0 MZR from an NC or even a 2.3 L3-VE or 2.5 L5-VE would make a welcome increase in displacement in that clean a package, provided it takes less work than the mods required to install an LSx. Information regarding transmission fitment and durability would also be sexy as hell.
DETAILS MAN!!!
If I'm not mistaken, isn't this the essence of the sport?
Info requested regarding:
- engine mounts
- front subframe modifications
- oil pan modifications
- rear end mods (if any)
- PPF (does the MZR use a PPF?)
- transmission selection and shifter clearances & position
- firewall modifications
- hood clearance
- core support modifications (if any)
- steering shaft issues
- exhaust system routing

Nah! You'd put carburetors and nitrous on it.
And Faeflora didn't respond well when I suggested a Jerico transmission and that $599 bellhousing to make his work. See Fae! Everybody's doing it.
Turns, that is a lot of work. Congrats on what you've built. I'd love to drive that powertrain on a road course in a prepared Miata.
