Or never getting the parts ordered, or any responses because every email under the sun just happens to fall into his spam folder. Whatever. There are plenty to of vendors in this community that are active and engage with the community in developing and supporting products. Spend your money wherever you want, but sometimes getting the right part the first time is worth the premium

I just didn't know to expect a lack of customer service from this site. I emailed and called yesterday, and called this morning still with no answer. What can I do to get my money back if he just won't answer? I don't want to be stuck with finding a way to get rid of these pistons that I'm not going to use.

CC chargeback. Would want to check with your card issuer for the process and what documentation they'd want.

Well, with the two biggest issues i ever had with him. When I tried every form of communication and nothing worked,I went on FB to places I knew he could see, and I wrote shitty posts about him very passively. Literally both times, like clockwork, within 20 minutes of the posts. he contacted me to attempt to resolve the issues. Worth a shot, or send him a link to this thread on FB. He will see it and hopefully get back to you in a timely fashion. Its sad thats the sort of measures a customer has to take with a business to receive resolution to an issue. But thats just the way he operates.

Just protest the charge with your credit card company. Done deal. If he has 8.5:1 pistons, he'll contact you quickly. If not, CC company returns your money and dings him. It's painless.

One shouldn't have to go out of their way to get customer service. That is simply the customer serving the business. But it doesn't matter, there will always be a ton of people that will flock into this dilemma because consumers are driven by price.

See my post above. Activity was probably to delete negative posts on his forum.

Vendors can only delete posts/threads in their own vendor sections.

So, in all of this confusion. He just sent me a screenshot of the reply he sent yesterday, but I never received it. It's not even in my trash bin so I didn't accidentally delete it. It's sorted now, so that's good.

Damn. That seems to be a common theme. I think he has something wrong with this spamfilter/mailserver. Or possibly DNS. It's always DNS.

If it's the vendor I THINK we're talking about I'm very surpsied because I've had nothing but great experiences with him. Glad it's all sorted

Wow!!! Other are having similar experiences, in the end I always got A product but it delayed my project months.

Every single time I had an issue with his products he acted like I was the only person...
