Also, now I am not so sure that Schedule 10 wouldn't be fine. Wall thickness is .109" vs .145 so plenty there. Weld Els go down to $4.95 for 1 1/2" long radius stainless els in schedule 10. As a matter of fact, I may have used schedule 10. Pretty sure I did.
You have to put one end in the vise to smash it down to oval it to match the ports in the head flange but it's no biggie.

Go with http://www.acestainless.com/weld-els schedule 10
Are you TIG welding? If not, go mild steel. It's easier to cut and it DGAF what filler you use. Prices are actually higher for mild steel over stainless but a couple of bucks would be less headaches cutting the els.

$7.75 each and only the thicker schedule 40 available here.
Schedule 40 will be more tolerant of shitty cutting and fitment as you can put more heat into the gap and the heavier wall will help bail you out.

The mild steel flange is only $22 bucks, but $25 to ship a 3 pound item?
Unless Tim gets back to me it's by far the cheapest place I've found.
JGS $78.50+ship
WittyWorks $80.00+ship
Straight Line Specialties $55.00+ship (CNC Machined)

No promises but I'll give him a call tomorrow. He usually has contracts or other jobs so idk if he could even get around to it in a timely manner. For reference, it took him four months to get around to making some brackets for a shelf I was building (took him a grand total of 10 mins to make once he was free).
