BEGI DP question

BEGI DP question
Well, its friday and Im pretty sure that they are closed by now so I'll ask here. I just got a manifold and one of the new style DP's, which is beautiful btw. I won't be getting a 3" enthuza exhaust as soon as I had hoped, post winter break now, but still would like to do the rest of my install over break. So on to the question... I know that the end of the dp has a 2.75" openning. Are the bolt holes on the flange still the same as the stock cat. Would I easily be able to bolt up the dp to the stock cat, and would any special gasket or anything be needed to do the job?

Before you install the DP you may want to look at the location of the WBO2 bung if you will be using it. Mine is near the cat and points the sensor downward quite a bit. I cannot safely drive the car with the wbo2 installed without constant fear of ripping it off. I have not contacted BEGI about the issue yet as I'm waiting to take pics of it...but I'm hoping it was a mistake. If this design is intentional you may want to weld in your own bung.
My cat is not stock so I cannot help you out in that regard.

Sorry I can't help you much, as my car is at BEGi right now. If I were you, I'd send an email over to Stephanie at BEGi. Her email address is stepht@bellengineering.net. If you send her an email you'll probably get an answer before the weekend is over.
Good luck to you.

The DP did bolt up to my stock cat.
Edit: here you can kind of see how it's the same flange, as well as the bung with the plug in it.

mine looks slightly different than yours, must be because it is for a 1.6. My 2nd bung is definately not pointed down like that but to the side like it should be. The only problem with mine is that the 2 bars where you are supposed the put the 4" bolt are too far apart. I'm not sure if putting that bolt if is really necessary to holding everything together. If you guys think it is then I'll just go buy a longer 5" bolt.
