Since I'm waiting for engine/turbo parts, decided to finish up on the inside stuff...
E-bay deep dish wheel with Momo horn button (b/c I wasn't going to rock the huge JDM letter horn button that came with it) ![]() AEM Boost and WB gauges (yep, the boost gauge goes to 50 )![]() ![]() JVC radio with HD Radio and V-gauges digital water temp/oil temp/oil pressure gauges (Gauges are wired up but not connected to sensors, hence low readings) ![]() ![]()

Indeed. Mind posting a link?
Having arrived in swelteringly humid Florida, my steering wheel (which had been holding up nicely) has begun rapidly to disintegrate. Looking for something which isn't too small, and perhaps a couple inches closer to the driver. I've been looking at these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-97...=p4506.c0.m245 Looks to be the same one with different color stitching. |

Here are the only angled shots I have.
![]() ![]() I like the wheel b/c it's a slightly smaller than stock, but doesn't block the stock gauges. It also pushes the wheel closer out and puts it in a really comfortable driving position as well as giving some more leg room too heel/toe. I can't comment on durability. It's not the finest quality, but certainly doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart. Here's a link to the same seller, but not the exact same item as my setup was wheel + hub and no quick release. FWIW, I think almost all the deep dish/drift ebay wheels are the same aside from the color of the stitching. I wanted to keep the Lotus theme going so I went with yellow against the brg. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-97...mZ250291592957

I still can't get over how nice the DDMWorks gauge/radio setup is. I wish there was some way to expose the engineering that goes into those things without taking the dash off. lol What you can't see is what makes the product worth every bit of money.

tom you're alive!
that wheel looks pretty good, nice and thick which i think i would like when i need to do slow speed one-handed steering with out power steering. but i'm not sold on having it closer to me. |

Yea that's one thing ll you guys are doing I'm not too sure about, putting the wheel closer just doesn't work for me, I got long arms.
What's going on with your door panels by the way? they look like they're BRG |

Even though I'm 6'1", I tend to sit with the seat back reclined quite a bit, and I'd very much like to have the wheel 2 or 3" closer to me than stock. Hence my interest in the version which includes the quick-disconnect- figure I could choose to install it or not, based on where the regular wheel/hub puts things. If my math is correct, diameter is about 1" less than stock '90-'93? I wonder if that's too small...
Just wish it was available w/o the yellow mark at the top. Yeah, I know what it's for, I'm just trying to keep my car as un-rice as possible. At that price tho, I'll probably grab one.

The door panels were a bit scuffed up when I bought the car so I recovered them with dark green vinyl.
Joe, I looked FAR and WIDE for a deep dish wheel with no yellow marker and the only one I found was the Nardi one that y8s has for $250. Momo makes one as well that is really nice, but it's even more riced out with two yellow stripes and drift written on the wheel itself. |

yeah, i ninja edited.
I kept the turn signal and wiper controls where they sat, you easily get used to them being where they sit, but this way they stay out of the way. You'll never turn your wipers on autoxing again. |

Yep, and those blinker checks.....But really, the little extra distance to blinker and wiper controls is quickly overcome and forgotten. Not an issue - sort of like a stiffer clutch feel that becomes second nature in a short time. |
