I did however watch a few gameplay videos on youtube. Initially it looks awesome, but when i watch people playing the game that are 10+ hours in, it does look a little repetitive.
Glad i didn't buy it, maybe when it goes on sale.

I don't fully understand Twitch, so i can't figure out how to watch the video on your channel.

I'd say its worth maybe 29.99 maybe 39.99 tops in its current state.
There is an autopilot that is completely bad. Seriously bad. It makes your ship flop around like a fish in space. If they removed that and just let you control the ship i'd be much happier. You try to lift up a tiny bit, the ship automatically points it self to space, you try to point down, the ship wont point straight down, you point right, the ship turns to the right but wont turn at all or my favorite.. you are trying to do a low pass over a settlement to see what it is before landing and you're turning right but the autopilot overturns your ship so now you're hovering with the cockpit facing down but you still cant see anything because the autopilot wont let you look around.
The radar is extremely broken. It scans a settlement and it's on your hud but it randomly appears and disappears. You get closer and the settlement disappears and you can't find it when you scan again. That makes no sense to me. Kinda reminds me of the radar in ED.
There's tons of essentials missing in the game such as a system map and perhaps a planet map that updates based on the radar scan. Currently you just fly around the solar system randomly at the planets based on what you see visually.
Next is the game mechanics. The NPCs spawn fixed distance from you based on your actions. If you take something that is "outlawed" the sentinels (their version of cops) spawn 3 at a time. You can kill them and as soon as you take something else 3 more spawn instantly again. Same with the NPCs in space that are trying to steal your cargo.
Last but not least the game is extremely badly optimized. Even I get lag and the lag is completely random. Sometimes its over lots of terrain which makes sense but other times its in space where there is nothing around to affect game performance. Oh and my Nvidia counter still shows 60fps even when the lag occurs.
So yeah those are my issues with the game. Other than that i'm having quite a bit of fun since every planet is pretty different. The exploration side is quite fun.

It appears that the steam has altered their 2 hour rule for NMS. Currently i went around the automated system and opened a ticket with steam.
I clicked on "help" on steam
Then Steam support
Then A purchase
Then find NMS in the list.
Then i have a different payment issue.
Then write your question.

Hello,
I purchase a game No Man's Sky and I've been trying to get a refund however the automated system won't let me. It appears that because of the insane amount of issues with the game steam has lifted the 2 hour refund rule and thousands and thousands of people have received a refund regardless of playing over the 2 hour rule. Please issue me a refund.
I should note that the game is full of bugs and my save data has gotten corrupted multiple times. I get kicked very often yet my system is way way above the minimum settings. This is besides the fact that the developer falsified information about the content available in the game to get more sales. The game was advertised with lies and false videos. Even the video on the steam page is a fake video.
Please see for your self. Here is the reddit page of many people getting refunds.

Also here is the confirmed post on the official steam community boards of more people confirming the same thing.

Thank you.
So i'll keep you guys updated on what happens.
