It's all good. We got stomped by them after you left, but I put up a real good fight.

Yea. Just went a few rounds with braineack and for whatever reason sc2 is now locking up my box. I checked reliability stats on win7 and it doesn't even show the crashes.

all window 7 updates are done, added it to my avg exceptions. Even tried running it under xp compatability.

Ran better on a corrupted c drive with pirated win7. Teach me to buy **** or perhaps, this is karma!!!

I have been on 7 for a while now with no issues yet... I'm assuming all your drivers are up to date.

Do some testing. Try MemTest, monitor your CPU temp when you're playing. Or have you made any hardware changes since updating to 7?

Only changes I made were a new hd and win7 from the store.

I killed the digsby app I run and then used the batch file I made to kill explorer and restart it when game launched

We played a game tonight all the way through. Alex, andy and I managed to take on 3ai.

I saw u on vent and chatted, perhaps u had it muted

3 ai on what difficulty?

Darn. I never heard anybody join on vent. Oh well.

Get bfbc2 reinstalled and see if that game crashes too.

I had 2 games crash on me right as I finished loading this morning.

I also had the game crash 3 times when i tried a voidray rush on 2's.

I run win7 as well, not sure what the deal is with sc2 and win7, who knows.

Forget AI, man up and do some league games! They'll only make you better. Im starting to train with an old friend of mine, he's ranked #1 in his 1v1 diamond league division lol.

Ill try to hop on mt vent this afternoon and play with some of you guys.

Yeah, I suck at 1v1, been practicing that.

Im stuck in bronze league on 1v1, Ill run thru three nubs then run into 2 players that shouldn't even be in gold league, not to mention bronze lol.

I usually assume an opening rush in bronze league. Best defense is a good offense :-D.

so i found this out at quake con. if you don't have a net connection you can't play starcraft 2. there is a offline mode but it only worked once out of the 10 times i tried. in offline mode there is no lan support and anything you do in the campaign don't count when you get back on line.

but quake con got me a grate deal on steam over the weekend.

Well, every id and Bethesda game available on Steam, anyway. The QuakeCon 2010 Pack contains enough games to choke a Cacodemon, including titles from the Quake, Doom, Heretic and Elder Scrolls series, Fallout 3 and more. Oh, and also Rogue Warrior. But hey, you still get 27 games for only $70, a savings of over $230.

In related news, the prices of several id mobile games have been slashed as well. Doom Classic and Doom Resurrection have both dropped to a wallet-pleasing $1.99, while Doom 2 RPG and Wolfenstein 3D Classic Platinum have both been knocked down to $0.99. Snag 'em from the App Store quick, because the sale ends August 15.

That's basically the way every major video game company is going. LAN parties are going to be a thing of the past. From what I've read, it seems that this quake con has been the worst one.

Just make sure you scout early, and you'll be completely ready for something like this. Early gas is also a giveaway.
