Default LC-1 sensor - can the plug/connector be removed?

Do you guys know if the plug/connector on the O2 sensor wiring can be opened to remove the wires with or without the pins?

I was hoping to shove the O2 sensor wiring up through the A/C drain hole, but obviously the connector on the end is way too big. The drain hole is in the ideal spot and means I can have the LC-1 controller sit next to the Adaptronic within the cabin.

Just cut the wires and use a Sureseal or Weatherpack 5-way socket & plug. The wiring used in the sensor can't be soldered.

Any connector will come off if you have the right pin tool, and should click right back into place as long as the pins are not damaged on removal.
