Timing belt kit and water pump
Does anyone live close enough to me to wanna help me out? I have no problems just doing simple bolt on procedures, but I dont want to take a chance at messing up on the timing belt. First time I have changed it.

so i had mentioned in a different thread that i already had a mechanic do this for me while i was at work. had him advance my timing along with the new belt and pump. is it normal for it to kinda be noisy at first? i have driven the car maybe 100 miles since the change

i'll check that out. it should be the last time i have a mechanic do any labor on my car other than dyno tuning.
pschmidt - i dont really know how to describe the noise. probably like supra said, the belt touching or rubbing against something.
