Default I have a hint as to what is wrong with my OP gauge

well at cold, when I slowly rev it, it goes up to 60 psi at 3.5k rpm, then at anything above that the op gauge goes right to 35psi and sticks there. Its odd, what could cause that?

maybe, think it would be the sending unit or the gauge? Also, where can I get a sending unit?
