Default autosport wiring patch harness

just need to know what a patch harness is... i tried searching but it took me to threads i didnt really need... so yeah; whats the difference between a patch harness and like the ones from boomslang? will it work for the AEM F/IC??? thanks

It is a ecu extension harness so you can install your AEM FIC without modifying the stock harness. I can build you one for less than autosport. Email me.

will it be harder to wire up because its all 1 color? or will it be harder to wire it up upsidedown under the dash burning yourself w/ the solder? hhaha

The boomslang makes it easy. You just solder the AEM harness to it then go plug it in. No laying on your back soldering things together necessary.

What year is your car? The autosport wiring harness works great. Those are the ones that we use.

its an 01 LS. are there any differences between Autosports and boomslangs patch harnesses???

As long as you have factory wiring and pinout diagram it's easy to wire it up on the bench - just take your time.

thanks guys for all the help. i ended up ordering boomslang's because since u guys said there isnt a difference... there is a difference in price.

i also picked up my AEM F/IC today during my delivery route ($318 well spent ) while im waiting for the harness to come, i'm going to go ahead and label the wires i need for it and where they are supposed to go to make it easier on me..


...plus i need to find my solder....
