Did I forget the 4 Cylinder Dyno Video?
Well, as you can see this is my dyno run from the beginning of the year before I took the car apart for the big power project or should I say bigger power project.

And Walkaround:

Here the old setup:

Spooled at 4600 on the dyno and around 4300 on the street. I would run it to about 7500ish.

HEY LOOK!! A REAL LIFE DYNO, with people that actually know how to run it, in a half-way decent looking shop....with no 400+ lb arabs yelling they're going to sue you because you put a sticker on a hardtop window.... (for anyone asking themselves "WTF is he talking about?" see the NOVA dyno day thread)
But looks pretty quick to say the least, good work

I should have something to show for it in about 3-4 weeks. I have a majority of the parts. Just have to start knocking things out when I get it back.
Left to do:
Fuel System, $3500 or so
Plumb the turbo (obviously custom), $2500
Cooling System, not much. Maybe $600 max. Already have pump.
Electrical, already have everything, just have to wire it up when I get the car out of the chassis shop.
Rims/Tires
Getting a house built right now. When I get the car out of the chassis shop, I won't be spending much money on it. I may finish up the cooling system. Then, after the house is done and I get moved in I will start spending money on it again. I'll hopefully have it done by the end of the year.

I can't ******* believe he is serious about this, and the sad part is that everyone here knows he is serious. I just can't wait for him to get some days off to get to work on this thing, cause it's gonna happen. Goddam Mike, just when I thought you had the perfect Miata, you tear it down and start over. Please post pics asap.
I will be in Dallas in August, too bad that's kinda far from Houston area cause I'd love to see this monster in person. This came out weired, but oh well.

Hadn't noticed it on the dyno video, the dyno driver was not used to the car. With a 70mm throttle body the throttle was a bit touchy. I got used to that. Paul should know all about this.
Also, with a short throw shift and that six speed. I would miss gears at times. I just couldn't get used to the way that thing shifted. Because I couldn't shift the car too well, I just opted to shift slow and not screw anything up by forcing things. Stupid Stick Shift.
