Maybe you should get a job so you can have them made like I did. Hate the game.

Is working as a contract mercenary for the CIA and being THE gigolo to the stars really a job though?

Caviar and Cris, son. Sorry for the late reply, I'm on a 410 footer in The Bahamas and don't have the best 3g reception for my platinum plated iPad. Well its not really mine, but "Jobs" is here with me and he let me borrow his. Mine will be diamond encrusted.

Say high to Jobs for me. I think he's on the top deck fetching some Hamms.

Is'nt the area around the cowl a high pressure zone anyway, meaning that a vent there will actually have airflow into the engine bay rather than out of it?

Lame.

anything beyond the first 1/3rd of the stock hood hump is high pressure.

I want both hoods. I want the NA hood for the LS1 track car for the airflow. I want the NB hood for my street car for the bling-bling.

You know, if the back vents on either hood are starting to get into the windshield pressure zone, and not flowing properly, you can always just block off those vents. Easy to test for, easy to fix. No big deal IMO. Either one is still probably going to extract like a ****.

Maybe its from the hood scoops with the crealy visibly platic plug on early 2000s Mustang GTs. But I have this huge aversion to non-functional vents of any sort. I love functional ones. Honestly I think part of the reason I like C5Zs so much is that the brake ducts that are either functional from the factory or easy to make so. I let the practical define the aesthetic too directly I guess.

I will be surprised if that hood is ever sold. It is more than a year old thread with the 'deposit' money scam still pulling ppls in.

Yeah I am one of the depositors for the NB hood. I had given up on it completely and was surprised when I saw this thread. The thing is, I am about to hack my NA track car hood to add an extractor scoop and am wondering if I should wait. Summer is coming though and if they are not shipping like right now then I think I should go ahead with Plan A.

It is a very good price but the delay is ridiculous.

none of those parts are made by the manufacturer in questions, thats an isc front lip and a 350z bumper vent. Im confused at what is being alluded to here. He (chaserauto) may be a rice dealer, but his rice accouterments are genuinely of good quality. The two or three pieces that have come out poorly were errors and were replaced or repaired immediately.

I think you are thinking of autokonexion, as a few of those hoods, trunks and hard tops just did not fit correctly to start with.

I have a ChaserAero carbon top I bought in a GB last year. The fit and finish is great, no complaints.

On that note though I decided I am tired of waiting on these guys so last night I did this to the NA hood. Carbontrix extractor scoop.

Will that fit with your intake? I remember when we were talking that it would run right into the intake and that is about 4-5" further back than mine.
