Default Congrats to Eyesore racing!

LeMons history was made in Arizona this weekend, with Eyesore Racing the first-ever team to take the overall win twice.

Their Ghettocharged Miata finished the most laps at the Goin' For Broken race, and the Eyesores have definitely earned LeMons Legend status. Here at the Auction Weekend Gavel-Tap, their Alice In Wonderland-themed car grabbed an early lead and never came close to relinquishing it. Well done, Eyesore!

Our race is in two weeks, cant wait!!!

Ours is in less than a month. We are stoked and hope to have our lemons trailer built by then to sleep in. Three twin bunk beds, a sofa, shower room, TV and cabinets. All on what used to be a 20' flatbed trailer.

Very nice car, did Club Roadster help you design that?

In all seriousness though, congrats.

Congrats!! Does being a repeat winner increase the odds of becoming people's curse?

Rumors say The Curse may be taken out of the rules. At the last event we had in Houston, no one got curse.

Rharris19, what car is your team?

They aren't taking it out. What is happening is a team not voting at all is like them voting for no car to get crushed. If more people "vote" for a car not to get rushed than the top voted guy gets, then no one is crushed. It is just to really make sure that it was unified hatred of that team thing and not just well you had the most votes and only had 8% of the votes.

We are the HOV-Wreckers this year and will probably use that for the two other races we are doing with chump car as well at TMS and HHR. Last year we were Team Top Gun.

Yesterday, those clowns just won ChumpCar actual 24 hours at Streets. Finally had to replace the front bearings they pulled out of the trash with the rest of the car after six races or whatever. Talked a lot about how much better it handled afterward.

The Curse is hopefully only used for good, taking out obvious cheater cars. I'd hate to take the time, effort and money to put up a legitimate car only to have it crushed because it runs well.

Eyesore is tearing up the crap can circuits. Of course they are using the ultimate cheater car - The Miata!

Thanks guys, we couldn't have done it without all the help we got on this forum during the build. We're just flabbergasted with the reliability of this car. Its getting to be seriously fast too.

On the curse, well, it's always a possibility, but usually the cheating is taken care of by the judges and the unfriendly driving is taken care of by the curse. Be nice to your track neighbors and you usually don't have to worry about the curse.

I think the fact that they reserve the right to simply buy the ride for 500 dollars at the end of the race is also a good deterent for the worst cheating. I though they guys that baisclly had a new Mini Cooper were pretty funny.

Is anyone going to be at the July 11-12 race at High plains in CO this year?
