Default MazdaDrivers VIR Full Course Sept 1-2

I know there are a ton of east coast guys here on the boards. I have also noticed that many of you do HPDE's.

MazdaDrivers is holding a HPDE Sept 1-2 at VIR Full course. I have already signed up and was just wondering if anyone from over here was planning on attending. It would be cool to meet some folks from this forum in person.

So post up if you plan on attending! MDA puts on a kick *** event and VIR Full is a blast! Its especially fun if you have FI as you dont get left on the 2 long straights.

I'd need to get a bar first...... we'll see, looks like I'll be doing coils and a bar in the next month or so...

+1 If I'm up and running, I'm definitely interested. FWIW, the two Mazdadrivers events I went to were both well run and not overbooked.

and it's always nice to outrun all the rx7s rx8s and other miatas that show up

The event in OCT at summit might be more up my alley....since i'm only like 45mins away, and i havent run the shanendoah yet.

I just read the equipment rules... at 6'4", there's no way my helmet is lower than the level of my rollbar. I'm out.

Sam....just borrow a hardtop.

I just don't think I want to drive to VIR for a track event, I think I'll be signing up for the Summit Point event in Oct.

hard tops need rollbars too for convertibles it says.

I haven't tried my ht with a helmet yet but I may do that to keep them from seeing I'm a hair taller than the bar

I will most likely be there. I have family in Danville so I got free room and board. Just need to come up with the money for it. Time to go job hunting tommorow.
