OK, so if I bought one of the 12" fans - could I ditch the two stock fans (don't have A/C anyway, just running the fans in parallel)?
I'm guessing it should fit in there on its own without too much of a problem?

nice writeup op.

Godspeed is literally down the street from where i live as well. compared to paying $300 for a Koyo Alumi radiator (made in Indonesia), i'd rather give the Chinese some $ instead.

not that i need a new radiator right now, but it's good to know where to get a cheap one, assuming godspeed stays in biz long enough.

It'll be awesome if someone made a shroud for those ebay fans. Something like http://fatcatmotorsports.com/igaller..._Photo_004.jpg but probably costing less than $100. I'm sure if you can get a template together you can get Tap Plastic cut it for around $40.

i plan on it, but out of AL or SS, never thought about that see through ****, that would be kind of cool, would lexan hold up? i would consider making some since its pretty cheap, but i dont know if it'll hold up, last thing i would want of for it to melt/catch on fire...

just installed one of these today and had to do exactly the same thing to mount it but it was easy enough and total install took 90 mins including the modding.

not sure if he mentioned it but you need to use the brackets from your stock plastic tank radiator to mount this. if you have one of the all metal auto factory rads you're beat.

as far as the drain "plug", it is just a bolt with an o-ring

Lexan - Heat (up to 212°F/100°C) / Cold (down to -40°F/-40°C)

Anyone know the under the hood temps for FI?

Now there is a big difference between the coolant temp and the ambient temperature of the engine bay. I would be a bit worried about the places where it makes contact with the radiator though.

Just got mine in yesterday. Came in perfect condition. This radiator seems MUCH thicker than a Koyo. Overall I was VERY impressed, esp for $160.

if Bruce doesn't have a pair I do Tom. I ended up ripping the brackets off my all metal one because it was getting thrown out and i wanted to cut the top halves off anyway so they wouldn't interfere with my intercooler piping.

I installed mine today and the MS logs show a 20-30 degree temp drop after the new radiator and again that is over the larger automatic all metal factory version. My temps were 179-181. i run a 180degree thermostat
