Default Oil cooler shopping list

so before i order i want to make sure i have all the right parts, can i get a ya or na?

x1 Mocal Sandwich Plate- 20mm Thread

x4 Mocal 1/2" BSP x -10 fitting

x4ft -10 Aeroquip Stainless Steel Braided Hose

x2 -10 Aeroquip 90 Degree Reusable Elbow Fitting

x2 -10 Aeroquip Straight Reusable Swivel Fitting

not sure which cooler to get

Go as big as you can if you're racing, go with one of the smallers if you're streeting it. Although in Texas bigger might be fine on the streets. I'd figure out where and how you're going to mount it before you buy the two oil cooler fittings and the oil cooler itself. I'm using 90's on both ends.

Get a stacked fin type with bypass feature. Basically they stack a bunch of identical sections except the first is a bit less restrictive so cold oil can flow through with less work until it all warms up and starts venturing deeper and deeper into the cooler.

Or just get a thermostat.

so all said and done it's costing me $303 with a better cooler and better flowing lines the FM kit.

some where with 2.5 brake duct hose i have left over feeding to it. once i get the cooler in i will start looking at mounting locations

Hi Jeff, thanks for posting your parts list. I'm picking up an earl's cooler from amazon too.

Where did you end up mounting your cooler? We both have an NB so I am very interested in your solution.
