Default What do you think the guy in the G35 thought?

I've had my greddy turbo '92 miata for a few months but I'm only on my 4th tank of gas. I still have to replace the clutch (it slips when I jump on it) and haven't taken it to the dyno so it's all seat of the pants but the go pedal sure is a lot of fun.
Nice day here west of Houston and was taking my wife to lunch yesterday. Pulled up behind a G35 coupe at a multiple lane light. After the light changed I pulled into the next lane that was now vacated. The G35 took off (nice with the top down you can hear the tire chirp). I kept my foot down just enough not to spin the clutch. Stayed a half length back up to about 75 mph. Turn was coming up and backed off.
It just cracked me up when I thought of what the G35 driver thought about a stock looking "100 footer" Miata staying right with him. Made me glad I bought a turbo

My old vr6 corrado could grab 4th at 111mph if you were irresponsible enough to drive it that way.

Although stupid and a waste of time, I loved rolling the turbo vr6 on highway runs on vettes and various other douche-canoery.

Pretty cool how a relatively cheap turbo kit can make the miata hang with the modern midrange sports cars eh? Imagine what you would have done with twice the boost on that Engine management and injectors is all you need pal. Welcome to the club

I've seen Gary Shuhart's "track dog" run all over the tt 350z at Texas motorsports ranch. That car is just wrong though.

I don't even know what type of horsepower my car pulls at the moment. Bought someone else's turbo car. It's a '92 (1.6L0) with a rebuilt motor (new oem pistons, rings, bearings, seals, micro polished crank) plus greddy 15g, huge intercooler, Begi FMU and OBX FMU, walbro 255 fuel pump, 1.8 injectors, blitz bov, stock exhaust, currently set at 6psi was told it can go to 12psi, - can stumble a little bit if I nail it (too rich?)- pulls great if I push the go pedal down in a smooth motion. I think I need to get some better engine management and head off to the dyno to see where I'm at. PO said 175hp - is that achieveable on this setup?
