I've said it before, and I'll say it again: there is likely the same ratio of morons on any forum.
The reason you see more moronic threads like those on the other forum is because the total number of users (and, in turn, morons) is higher, but the ratio/percentage is the same.

Not a high school drop-out, nor did I major in political science or Communist theory in college. Just picked the first Communist country that came to mind to make a silly, innocent comparison.
While this forum may be slightly lacking in number of morons compared to M.net, we're certainly not left wanting for acerbic wit, eh?
Oh, great Loki, what is it you do for a living that allows you to so readily divine my past while simultaneously making back-handed insults to my intelligence?

Personally, I find most bulletin boards frustrating. I don't find this board frustrating. I think the problem with most boards is that the admins have the wrong philosophies. They have good intentions, they want to be benevolent and nurturing without realizing most people on the internet are entitlement minded whiny ------s. Then their board gets language filters and many threads are locked and posts are deleted because they just don't want to hear people bitch and moan about how offended they are. It becomes a bunch of touchy-feely bullshit where it's better to be nice than be right.
In the case of this forum, Philip doesn't give a **** what you want or think. This does not work for 80% of the stupid ***** on the internet. But we don't want those ******** here anyway.

Man, when this forum was smaller, I swear it wasn't quite the room of bickering kids that it's become at times these days. It's like middle school all over again: kids throwing unwarranted insults, as if they're just itching to start a fight.
