Ok, not literally, but it seems as though my girlfriend has now taken ownership of it. I bought my white 92 Miata with hardtop, ac, power steering and 142k miles for $2600 about 6 months ago. It was neglected by its previous owner to say the least, but with a full tune up, some new belts and hoses, a new soft top back window, a greddy kit, a bosch in line fuel pump, full 2.5" exhaust no cat, New 17" wheels and tires, new trunk lid(old one had the holes from the rack), ETD Racing Crossover pipe, Turbosmart type I bov, Style bar install, Altezza Tail lights, silverstar headlights and blinkers, a autometer boost gauge, a lot of armor all, and a ton of advice from everyone on this website, It looks like new car(almost).
I don't think my Girlfriends Lexus IS300 has left the garage for atleast a few weeks, every morning when I got to get into my car, she's taken it to work and every night she is off with one of her friends in it. I purchased a 02 VW Gti 1.8t with many upgrades from the previous owner about a month ago, so I retired my Miata as my daily driver, Dreaming of how great it would be to always have my Miata clean because I would no longer have to drive it in the rain, well, I think I have had to wash it more since she started driving as it is about probably more now than it was when I had it. I guess I can't complain too much, as she doesn't seem to mind too much when I take out her IS300 for a night on the town with the boys.A miata for a Lexus, I'd consider that a pretty even trade, and so does she I think

Pull the AC/PS and put in race seats for "weight savings" and put in a much stiffer (aka uncomfortable) suspension and see if she continues to take it out.

My wife drives my car most of the time, I need my truck for satelite installations.
My wife loves and hates the miata. Cant wait til I get a job at comcast, so she can drive the truck.

My wife loves driving my car, but she won't drive it to work since it doesn't have AC anymore. She has a Trailblazer SS (395 hp, 400 ft-lbs), so it is fun to drive too.

After the SO's first taste at autox on the week-end it might be more of an issue... the only good part is she currently takes the train downtown to work, so I think I'll be OK... plus the ACT HD clutch, she hates it....

But I can see on week-ends it might be more of a fight. <G>

Haha, my girlfriend wont touch my miata, however she begs to drive my IS300 all the time. Unfortunately for her, both are too low to the ground for her level of driving talent

You couldn't be more right. she never shuts off the a/c when she has the top up, she is worried that the humidity will make her hair frizzy, yet some how she doesn't mind when the top is down...hmmmm ????

sorry, met my wife because of miatas. i was her instructor at a hpde. she had a '99 with fm springs, sways, aftermarket wheels, intake and exhaust. it had custom flames painted on it.

she can't wait for the turbo to go in. she_has_no_fear of it. :(

As it should be. a single miata is for a single person to make there date squeeze harder as the turbo spools and they are pushed into the seat, comeon evryone knows that :gay:
