It came with an OEM shifter, and I have no intention of getting another shifter. Shift is a hell of a lot shorter than my 92 Mustang.

The plate as others have noted is for the starter bolts on the NA Miata's, On the NB as others have noted, I think they are all the same. I need to get my Miata back, but that won't happen until late april/early may... :(

Just to double check, the same clutches work on both? I would hate to have to toss a clutch that cost me half as much as the tranny would.

Also, anyone know someone who wants to buy a used and abused 5 speed (though it did get redline!) for close to what a 6 speed costs? :-)

The 5 speed clutch works with the 6 speed trans.

The plates are identical. I had both hand in hand thinking I needed to swap them.
