Hey all! Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I couldn't really find one more appropriate. Anyway. There's a guy with a roll bar for sale near me at a good price, but he doesn't know what it is other than a hard dog. It looks like an M1 Sport with no cross braces, in which case I can't use it because i have a stupid glass window top. Is that the case? I've been hunting for quite some time for a cheap roll bar and now that I found one it probably isn't compatible.

Funny thing is I contacted this guy already about this since im going up to minneapolis on Thursday to hopefully pick up a miata im bidding on. So if you dont buy it by then I already emailed him earlier this week and said I would stop by haha

haha... wow. small world. It's a decent price, but I'm pretty sure it's an M1 Sport, which does me no damn good with my glass top, which really sucks. I need a roll bar ASAP so I can run blackhawk this summer. Why must they all be so expensive!

Well im picking this up tomorrow just so you dont call him asking if he still has it. Not sure what I am going to do about the harness bar yet possibly weld a bar to the body since I dont want to compromise this roll bar but we'll see. Sorry to steal it from ya but my new purchase needs some goodies right away haha

You bastard! Just kidding... I would have been pissed had i been able to use it. Unfortunately it's an M1. Believe me... I can use a roll bar... Totally would have jumped all over that had it been usable. Glad someone can use it. Good price though!
