When I put in my bar should I also put in a seat/harness for my passenger too?

No issues yet, but I do wear a 5 point harness as tight as I can get it every time I get in the car. Having been in a miata that nearly rolled, I will risk the possibility of smacking my head on it in a rear end collision.

I've got an autopower street bar in mine. With stock seats it's well back or where you head should ever be. Not as tall as other bars because of the position. Not as much safety room for your head in a rollover but certainly better than nothing and a good compromise for a DD car. Autopower, bethania and boss frog all build street bars that get the bar farther back from the seats to be safer without a helmet.

If you are that paranoid about cracking your skull on the bar look at street bars! You also get the bonus of chassis stiffening just like the track bars.

It's all about the Hard Dog Duece. Sits quite far back. Roll bars are to keep you from being crushed more than to protect you during the roll.
