I've bought plenty of used parts. There's a big difference between sellers and it's pretty clear when you're dealing with a legitimate, knowledgeable owner or someone who just got the parts 2 days ago.

I can tell legitimate sellers from scammers as well...I just don't base who I'm going to do business with on race.
Racism won't be tolerated here. End of story.

here's what I brought home
it's a 2.5" catback exhaust, a cat and 1/4th of a downpipe. no brand name anywhere. seller claimed "3 inch flyin' miata turboback". he also had a 1.8 diff in the trunk. I asked him if it was a torsen, he said it was "an LSD". Didn't know what type. But he was "swapping it into his car". he also referred to the flex pipe as "the resonator". I think the cut downpipe tells the whole story!
